This explains what Muggy collects, why, and what you can do about it. Muggy is operated by Abhishek Borade, Gurugram, Haryana, India.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, and your name if you give it.
  • Orders: what you ordered, from which kitchen, when, your pickup codes, and order status.
  • Payments: amounts, payment status and Razorpay's payment and refund references. We never receive card numbers, UPI PINs or bank details.
  • Muggy credit: a record of credit added and spent.
  • Technical: basic server logs (such as time and pages requested) used to keep the service running and secure.
  • Usage: how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, page views and a few events such as starting checkout), recorded with Microsoft Clarity. Text you type is masked and never recorded.

How we use it

  • To sign you in, take your order, send it to the kitchen and let you collect it.
  • To take payments, issue refunds and keep accurate financial records.
  • To pay kitchens: they see your name or email and what you ordered, so they can hand over the right food.
  • To understand which parts of Muggy are confusing or broken, and improve them.
  • To prevent fraud and fix problems. We don't sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Who processes it for us

  • Supabase stores our database and handles sign-in (servers in Mumbai, India).
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Razorpay processes payments and refunds.
  • Google (Gmail) delivers sign-in emails.
  • Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, using cookies, so we can improve the site.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while you use Muggy. Payment and order records are kept as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, even after you close your account.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Email muggy.app@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Records we must keep by law are retained until that obligation ends.
