Terms of use

These terms cover your use of Muggy, a food ordering service for kitchens on the Masters’ Union, Gurugram campus. Muggy is operated by Abhishek Borade, Gurugram, Haryana, India. By signing in you agree to them.

What Muggy does

Muggy lets you order from campus kitchens, pay online and collect your food at the counter with a pickup code. Muggy is the ordering and payment platform. Each kitchen prepares its own food and is responsible for its quality, hygiene, ingredients and allergen information. Ask the kitchen before ordering if you have an allergy.

Your account

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox private.
• One account per person. You're responsible for orders placed from your account.
• We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse of kitchens or staff, or attempts to get around payments.

Orders and pickup

• Prices are set by each kitchen and shown before you pay. Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds.
• Kitchens bring a set number of each dish to a campus counter for a time window. You choose the counter, except for kitchens you subscribe to, which send your order to the counter nearest your lecture and show it on your Orders page. You can order until a dish sells out or the window ends.
• Collect your order by showing its 4-digit pickup code at that kitchen's counter. Anyone with the code can collect it, so don't share it.
• You can't cancel an order after paying. Orders not collected by the end of that day's service are forfeited and not refunded.

Fees and kitchen subscriptions

• Orders may include a platform fee, shown on the bill before you pay.
• Some kitchens offer monthly subscriptions, which you buy from the kitchen directly, not through Muggy. The kitchen adds you in Muggy; your orders from that kitchen are then free in the app and use your plan's meals. The subscription's price, renewal and refunds are between you and the kitchen.
• During launch offers we may waive the platform fee. A payment charge covering the payment gateway's fee may then apply to the amount you pay online; it's shown on the bill before you pay and refunded if your whole order is cancelled.

Payments, refunds and credit

Payments are processed by Razorpay; Muggy never sees or stores your card or UPI details. Refunds and Muggy credit are covered in our refund and cancellation policy.

Liability

Muggy is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer protection law.

Changes and disputes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction. For complaints, contact our grievance officer on the contact page.
